Through international academic partnerships and industry alliances, ShanghaiTech encourages its students and faculty to think globally and push the limits of scientific exploration. Academic partnerships with prestigious universities such as UC Berkeley, University of Chicago, MIT, Padova University provide opportunities for faculty development, course sharing, student exchanges, academic exchanges and joint research. In addition, ShanghaiTech aims to break down the barrier between research and industry and is building strong alliances with domestic and international high-tech companies that support R&D and student training.
